On March 19th, 2010 the Illinois Valley Flying Club teamed up with Illinois Valley Community College and Starved Rock for Vocational Technology Education to offer a unique opportunity for 60 area students. The students were introduced to a few of the different skills and career opportunities available in aviation. For of the attendees won a flight in a club plane through a very generous donation by member Peter Limberger.
